School Assemblies

On Fridays at 10.15 am we have a Whole School Assembly in our hall.

This is an important time for everyone to get together and celebrate super student achievement and watch items that various classes have prepared for performance.

Our assemblies are hosted by two of our School Councillors each week. There are 2 councillors for each Year 5 and Year 6 class.

Sometimes we have special assemblies for special occasions. Sometimes things are going on around the commuity and around the country that we acknowledge and make a focus. For example: Wear Black to Support Canterbury.

Mr Kaiser awards certificates to those students who have been recognised by their teachers and also those students who are new to our school. Mr Kaiser acknowledges those students who have taken initiative over the week and have been mentioned in the 'Green Book'. He also awards the Tidy Kiwi award which acknowledges the tidiest classrom for the week. Our school caretaker Mr Taylor chooses this class.

We sing great songs that we have learned.

Mr Ducat, our new Deputy Principal, is learning how to shake hands firmly.

Have a look at some recent photos from our school assemblies.
