Father's, Uncle's and Grandad's Morning

Recently we held an open morning for Dads and Uncles and Grandads and any other significant males who feature in the lives of our tamariki.

We were amazed and really thrilled at the interest from our families and community in this event.  More than 100 visitors came to classrooms and participated in the learning programmes over the morning.

We heard fabulous stories! Lots of our dads, uncles, grandads and brothers read to children, talked about their jobs and hobbies. They enjoyed their time at school.

We loved having them too - it was a real treat!

We had a special morning tea to celebrate.
