Debbie ClarkB.O.T. ChairpersonI have two daughters, one currently attending Tirimoana in Year 5, the other is in Year 7 after completing her full six years at this school. Before our children began their education, my husband and I visited other local schools. We asked questions, looked at school environments and at how closely they reflected our views and family values. We had no hesitation in selecting Tirimoana as the school for our girls and have never regretted this decision.
Evi SinclairB.O.T. MemberI currently have one son, Lucas, in Year 5 at Tirimoana Primary School. I was born and educated in Germany and met my kiwi husband, Brett, while travelling in Australia. We have been living in Te Atatu since we arrived back in NZ in 1996. I trained as a nurse in German and work as a registered nurse at Auckland Hospital.
We joined Tirimoana in 2003 as a family and felt very much at home in this school. I helped in the classroom and with PMP, joined the PTA, ran the walking school bus and supported the school with fundraisers, sports days and sausage sizzles. I love giving my time back to our wonderful school in appreciation of what this school has done for my children.

Our family (that’s me, my husband, 2 girls and 2 cats), have lived in Glendene for almost 2 years.
As I work from home, I am lucky (and privileged) to be able to help out at the school when needed. I get the biggest buzz in the world when the children say hello (even if they don’t know my name and call me “Emma’s Mum”).
My work as a technical writer means I am always learning new things. I love nothing better than a challenge, particularly when it involves something I’m passionate about – the education of our children.

I have 2 children at Tirimoana Primary, Harrison is in year 4 and Aidan is in year 2. I also have 2 nieces at the school. I think Tirimoana is a great school and I am proud to say my children attend this school.
I have been a builder for over 20 years and a paid fire fighter now for 13 years. When I am not at the fire station or building I enjoy diving, fishing and anything else that involves the outdoors. In the winter I play masters rugby league. In the summer I coach an under 8’s T-ball Team (junior softball) for United and I have just started helping coach my sons 7th grade soccer team at Waitemata.

My wife and I have 2 children, Olivia aged 11 and Milan age 8. We actually live out of zone from Tirimoana but since our children were in kindergarten we knew what school we wanted our children to attend. Tirimoana represented values that we as family hold and upon researching the various schools in the area Tirimoana was the obvious choice.
I am Detective Sergeant in the Auckland City Police District and have worked for the NZ Police for 15 years. I am in charge of the Auckland City Child Exploitation Team where I investigate and seek to prevent the exploitation of children through the means of the internet.
I have a keen interest in sport and currently coach my son’s rugby team at Waitakere Rugby Club where we have a few Tirimoana boys in our team. I am also a keen fisherman and am always keen to escape to the harbour for a few hours and a few fish ! I have coached Olivia’s netball team here at Tirimoana and I encourage kids to get actively involved in sports. I attended the school camp last year and we had great fun supporting our kids at different activities and watching them learn some skills that some kids do not get to do in their lifetime.
